Then I stitched from the arm opening down to the zipper teeth. That went well enough. Then I stitched from the bottom of the hem up towards the bottom of the zipper. That’s where things get wonky almost every time I do this. I always end up hand-stitching because there’s a weird gap of fabric at the bottom of the zipper that doesn’t get machine-stitched, and even after hand-stitching it often still looks a bit wonky. Usually a bit of pressing covers it up well enough that nobody notices but me. But still, anyone have a trick for this?
I survived this step though, and sleeves come next!
